Mommy Daily Muse! :)

My life the sitcom...

Our inner circle has been touched by a beautiful little girl, who is fighting an ugly disease. My daughter Delaney has a friend Maddy who was diagnosed with leukemia in November. The first grade class skypes (a live video feed) with Maddy to keep her part of their young world, trying to retain some semblence of "normal", even when the reality is: it is not.

This is such a sad situation. Something that you never would want for any child, but at the same time, Maddy's crises has become a gift to so many. She is an inspiration and God is definitely using this small child to bring about big powerful results!

Recently, there was an event in our town to raise money for cancer and Maddy was a part of. Please take a look at this news clip that showcases this precious child. I would appreciate any prayers you could send her way.

My heart goes out to her family. Its a tough situation to go through. it amazes me how strong children can be in that situation though. They can look past what is happening to them. Us adults need to learn something from children. : )
