Your Appointed Time
TODAY'S SCRIPTURE"For the vision is yet for an appointed time...though it tarries, wait for it"
(Habakkuk 2:3, KJV))
TODAY'S WORD from Joel and Victoria
God has an appointed time to fulfill the visions, dreams, and desires in your heart. Just because it has taken a long time or because you've tried and failed doesn't mean it's not going to happen. Don't give up on those dreams! Don't be complacent about pursuing what God has placed in your heart. Our God is a faithful God. No matter how long it's been, no matter how impossible things look, if you'll stay in faith, your set time is coming.Remember, every dream that's in your heart, every promise that has taken root, God put it there. Not only that, but He has every intention of bringing it to pass. Hold on to that vision today. Declare by faith, "My time is coming. God is working behind the scenes on my behalf. I will fulfill my destiny!" As you continue to hold on to that vision and speak life over your dreams, it won't be long before you see them begin to take shape. You'll see your faith grow, you'll see your hope strengthen, and you'll see yourself step into the destiny God has prepared for you!
A PRAYER FOR TODAYFather in heaven, I receive Your Word which is life and health to me today. I ask that You ignite my heart with Your holy fire so that I can pursue Your perfect plan for my life. Make my thoughts and words agreeable to Your will. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
The Greatness of His Favor
TODAY'S SCRIPTURE"But God, who is rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us...raised us up together, and made us sit together in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus, that in the ages to come He might show the exceeding riches of His grace in His kindness toward us in Christ Jesus"
(Ephesians 2:4-7, NKJ))
TODAY'S WORD from Joel and Victoria
Oftentimes, people set their focus on what God has done in the past-how He parted the Red Sea or stopped the sun for Joshua or fed thousands of people with just a little boy's small lunch. Yes, God has performed many amazing miracles throughout history; and it's important that we give Him praise, but at the same time, we also have to look forward to what God wants to do in our lives today. In today's verse, Paul says that "in the ages to come" God would do things that exceed anything He's ever done before. I believe that the "ages to come" is this day and time we're living in right now. God wants to outdo Himself in our generation! Remember, God is a God of increase. Where you are today is not where you are supposed to stay. He has greater levels of His favor and blessing in store for your future. Dare to dream big! Dare to keep a God-sized vision in front of you! Dare to take hold of every spiritual blessing He has in store for you!
A PRAYER FOR TODAYFather in heaven, thank You for Your faithfulness. Thank You for showing me Your love. Today I open my heart and mind to You so that I can see the greatness of what You want to do in my life. Use me for Your glory. In Jesus' Name, Amen. Isaiah 43:19See I am doing a new thing ! Now its springs up; do you not percieve it? I am making a way in the desert and streams in the wasteland Numbers 6 : 24-26The Lord Bless you and keep you, The Lord make HIS face shine upon you, The Lord turn HIS face towards you and give you peace -this is how you should bless yourself and family and all those around you. defeated no more from this day forward. Lets be blessed so we can bless others if we think and speak in defeat its the seed we are sowing but if w are speaking blessings in our lives then those are the seeds that will harvest. your choice.......
GOD wants to WOW you Did you know that God can use a single moment to transform your life for the better?
God is always working, even when we have no idea what He's doing. He loves to bless us with His amazing, awe-inspiring goodness, even when we least expect it or when things don't seem to be going the right way.
Romans 8:28 is a popular verse but never gets old. To me, it's one of the most encouraging verses in the entire Bible. "And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them" (NLT).
I love the word "everything" in this verse. We tend to think of bad things and difficult seasons, but "everything" includes more. It includes the good things as well as the things that we are indifferent about. God takes all of those things and works them out for our good.
He wants you to be the kind of person who thinks about His promises all the time, who believes the best, and who keeps hoping when others just give up. If you live this way, I believe you'll be amazed at how God works in your life. You'll experience His favor in what I call a "God-ordained moment."
A God-ordained moment is an incredible, supernatural event that God's been setting up, working behind the scenes so that you can experience His goodness at just the right time. These God-ordained moments don't come on our schedule, but when they come, all we can say is: "Wow!"Victoria and I want to remind you not to allow discouragement, a busy schedule or the hurts from your past to cause you to miss what God is doing in your life. Most importantly, don't give up on being blown away by God's favor.
Because of how big our God is and how much He loves us, I believe that we can experience "Wow" moments on a continual basis, as long as we continue to love Him and obey His Word.
Victoria and I want to say thank you for supporting this ministry and helping us share the message of HOPE in Jesus Christ around the world. We are believing with you for a year filled with God-ordained moments in your life!
For whoever finds me finds life, And
obtains favor from the LORD...
