It's a Crazy Life...

Well, it finally happened...my son assaulted someone (his bus driver and the assistant) and they're filing charges.  I find myself in a difficult situation and feeling rather frustrated.  On the one hand, I realize how serious the implications of his escalating behavior is.  However, I want to protect him because he's my son.  He really has no concept of the consequences, even though I have tried to explain it to him and he claims to understand.  He thought it was cool to ride in a cop car and get an "ink test" but didn't think it was a big deal.  I have to contact all the appropriate people, but I think his school is closed this week for spring break, because he's off the whole week.  I'll let you know what happens.
