Tulips

Tulips are my favorite spring flower.  Not very many people like them.  I love the different colors and the uniqueness.  I do have them in my yard and want to plant more for next year.  Outside of their beauty, I guess I like them because of how durable they are.  I don't have a green thumb and kill everything.  I don't have to do anything to nourish these flowers.  They keep coming back year after year with no help from me.  Too bad my husband can't be as independent, lol.  Tulips are one of the small, simple pleasures in my life and not having to do much to get this is a bonus.

I completely agree with you. Tulips are beautiful!! They are my favorite flower, makes me sad they are only around for a short time. I also do not have a green thumb (more like a black one) because I seem to kill plants that hard to kill. I have wanted to plant some in my yard, but thought they were just a one time thing. I wasn't aware they come back, so you have enlightened me. I think I will do some more research and start planting them!! Thanks for the post :)
