No piece of furniture is safe when you have a toddler roaming the house. My dining room chairs are no exception. Logan had stained the white cushions so bad that no amount of scrubbing was helping. After much disgust towards their appearance, I set out to bring the chairs to their former glory.
The project cost me a whopping $10.50 for the fabric, and $15 for a staple gun and staples. The labor is a different story. It took quite a bit of time and effort to remove the gazillion staples that the manufacturer used to hold the fabric in place. I suspect that a heavier duty gun was used as the staples I applied didn't take quite as much effort to remove.
Except for the labor it was an easy project. I simply unscrewed the cushions from the chair frame, removed the staples & fabric, applied the new fabric, sewed & applied the trim and reattached the cushion to the chair frame.
