Mommy Daily Muse! :)

My life the sitcom...

She held her precious newborn in her arms, marveling at the miracle of his birth. She thanked God for her precious gift, and prayed that she would be worthy as his mom. Like so many moms, she believed her son was something extra special and that great things were in store for him. She also knew that there would be times of heartache as well as moments of extreme joy on her journey of motherhood.

No mother wants to see her child experience pain, but there are times when she has no other choice. All she can offer is a gentle kiss, words of comfort, a prayer. And no matter how much heartfelt longing she holds in the depths of her heart she can not take her child's place. It can never be so.

The only difference between this mom and the rest: her child was the son of God! Her child was placed on this earth so he could die--for us.

May you have a blessed Easter with your loved ones...look beyond "the story" and see it from a mother's eyes!

So true! Thank you for a beautiful, beautiful post.

I love the words to the old hymn....

He could have called ten thousand angels To destroy the world and set Him free. He could have called ten thousand angels, But He died alone, for you and me.

May you and yours have a very blessed Easter season!
