Pass this email on to everyone you know! April is Autism Awareness Month, so let's spread the word and try to get as many donations as possible! Each group has a different purpose, so be sure to go to their websites and read what they are all about!

Donate to Autism Speaks this month and they will double the donation! How awesome is that? You can go to AutismSpeaks.org to fill out their donation form. Imagine, if 20 people donate $20, they will raise $800 total! Autism Speaks is the largest non-profit Autism Awareness group. They provide millions of dollars, every year, in grants for research, community improvements and education for professionals and families of Autism. They need these donations to continue their amazing work!

Donate to TACA, Talk About Curing Autism, by going to my fundraising page http://www.firstgiving.com/saramartinez TACA is a group that provides support to parents, mostly. They have educational seminars, that help teach parents how to take control of the IEP process for their child's schooling. They have parent support groups that meet 1 or 2 times a month and support the discussion of how we have all chose to treat our children, whether it be natural methods or medication. Parent support groups are incredibly important for us as parents of children with autism. It is so incredible to know we are not the only ones going through this. Go to Talkaboutcuringautism.org to read more about the group and what they offer.

Donate to the Autism Society, by texting Autism to  50555. The Autism Society has made it really easy this year! Just text the word Autism to 50555 and you will be donating $10! They have an annual PB&J for Autism Awareness Day, which is April 2nd. The idea is that you pack your lunch for the day and donate your lunch money to support Autism instead. This year it's so much easier to donate, with just a simple text. Go to Autism-Society.org to read more about this non-profit. They are really more of a support for families and people with autism. They have sensory friendly links and events that are specific for families with autistic children.

Pick one or donate to all 3! No matter what you choose, just donating, any amount, is a huge help for all of us going through this.

You are helping; Me, as a parent of an autistic child; Cameran, as an autistic child; Your Children, as a peer of an autistic child; Teachers, as they learn to educate autistic children; Our Future, because these 1 in 110 children being diagnosed today, are Our Future!
