Do you need a friend ? Family and close friends do not understand you ? Do they tell you to "get over it" ? Well this is the group for you then ! We are all here for each other , we understand what everyone is going through. It is hard to live everyday life with Depression or any other mental illness. that is why I started this group . I wanted a safe place that I could go to and get all my feelings out and the people reading would totally understand me ! This is what we have in this group ! We are a VERY private group, Because of the sensitive issues that are discussed here . We do not tolerate ANY type of bashing or taking things OUT of the group. Our members feel safe in posting knowing their secrets stay within the walls of the forums . If you or a family member has any type of mental illness.... and you need help understanding or being understood .... please check out our group . mouse1085 please come check out this group, its great!! U will find other ladies like u, who understand and are dealing with the same things that u r!! I am an Admin for this group and I am ADHD, Bi-Polar and Manic Depressive so I know what u are going through!! My family and friends do not understand and they do tell me to get over it!! I just know that since I've been a member of this group. I've met some of the best ladies. They all have to deal with some of the similar problems as my DS and I have. And, we all become like a big family. It is great and we are always helping each other deal with what ever is going on in our lives. It is great to have a place that is as safe as this is.
This is one fo the most understanding, sympathetic, loving groups I have seen on CafeMom. I have met some very wnderful ladies & have never been judged. I have found not only support & information concerning my daughter, but have found it for myself as well.
If you have any type of mental illness or depression, you will never regret becoming a member of our group!

i don't know if i belong here. I've never been diagnosed but i'm sure i'm depressed. I've had these feelings since i was about 14 and i'm about to turn 44. It's kinda crazy (sorry, no pun intended) but i would have killed myself a long time ago but i have too many responsibilities. Weird, right? I just feel my family didn't ask for me as a mother, nor did my husband bargin for all this bull when he married me. So I suffer in silence. Anyway, thanks for letting me vent. Hopefully today will be a good day!
