to young to die

On monday my husband calls me and said "Matt's wife is in the hospital, she has a brain anerusym.  They dont think she is going to make it. She passed out this morning and is in a coma."  My first reaction "OMG!! she is so young, she can only be like in her 30's."  Monday passed and she was not making any improvement.  Tuesday the hosptial does a cat scan and she is brain dead.  They ask Matt(dh) if they want her to be off the ventilator. Matt says he cant make that decsion at this point and needs more time.  Another cat scan is done and now shows 2 mini stokes and no brain activity.  Matt knows that Jen wants to be an organ donar and agree's to take her off the ventilator.  Jennifer, beautiful wife, mother, sister, daughter, friend passes away this morning.  Leaving behind her husband, and 2 sweet little girls ages 6 and 3.

Why??? why did this happen to this wonderful person?? Why did this great guy lose his wife so young?? Why did these poor little girls lose their mother at such a young age?? I cant even wrap my head around it.

While I didnt know her very well. She was a giving, caring, loving, and nice person.  She loved her family and friends and always smiling.

It really shows how life is so precious and short. that your whole world can change in a blink of an eye.  Tell your family and friends how much you love them. You never know what life will bring.

to all my friends here on cafemom. although we have never met, I love you all.  You have been here for me when I didnt think I could get through the next hour let alone a day.  You all know who you are. thank you for being my friend!!!

Please pray for this family. Its going to be a long and hard road ahead.

Oh I forgot, this girl gave to the end, she was an organ donar. I'm wondering how many lives she saved.  what a wonderful gift.

Thank you for posting this. I hope people read this and don't take their family for granite. I lost my sister in Feb 09 and I have worried everyday since that something will happen to me and leave my 2 young children without a mother.

Why does anything happen to wonderful people? Because life is sickeningly unfair. As long as she is kept in peoples memories she will never truly be gone :) She will also live on through the people who will receive her organs.

I am so sorry for your loss.  It breaks my heart thinking of her husband and children.  A sudden loss like this is very shocking, and it will be a long time before it sinks in. 

Dion just lost a friend of his on February 2nd to the same thing!  She was a 39-year-old mother of four.  She was so healthy, fit, and active.  It was very shocking.  Her children found her in the morning unresponsive.  She had passed in her sleep.

I'm sorry, Mama.  I guess we need the reminder to live our lives to the very fullest.  My "little" sister (age 32) just had part of her arm amputated on Monday... we don't know why these things happen, it is terribly unfair and some days I feel like just crying... but we move on and keep doing the best we can.  Life isn't about how many breaths we take, but how many moments take our breath away.  Prayers going to this lady's family & friends.  Thank you for honoring us and allowing us to pray for this family.  Love Mama!

I am so very sorry about this .....My prayers will be for the family and thank you for sharing ........Life is so unfair.  I just lost my 2 babies Pups, I love them so much and it hurts terribly. I can't even imagine losing my spouse or children.
