the week from hell( life with asthma)

lets see last week was horrible!!  it all started out with a simple cold. next thing i know it began. the wheezing, the horrible cough, i took them to the doctor. my dd sounded worse then ds. so both of them got send albuterol. izzy got send orapred and gabe pulmicort. next day my son gets a fever of 105. i go to the er and well you know give him motrin. as for my dd at this point, she is getting albuterol every 4 hrs plus the orapred. on friday, gabe wakes up again with a really high fever is 106. his very lethargic . i take him to the doc and he gets a shot of rosefin and a prescription for amoxicillan and of course alubterol every 6 hrs. on saturday i  take gabe back to the doc.(follow up) the doctor hears that izzy is still coughing really bad. so he gives her amoxicillan also. and of course the albuterol.. ugh being a mom too kids with asthma suck! and having asthma too.  i should know i have asthma too

amen sister i hear you. i have asthma as does my ds. he has been sick since thursday and i took him to the er and other then giving him a breathing treatment which i have been doing at home they did nothing. now my dd who has been ill since birth and has needed the nubuilazer since forever is now sick so we will see tomorrow at the followup what the doc says
