My washing machine broke on Sunday. I tend to do laundry every day in order to keep up so it was especially bad waiting from Saturday to Wednesday to do any washclothes or towels. The girls were sporting last years' Easter dresses by the end. I guess that's a sign I need to buy this years' summer clothes.
The repair man couldn't find anything wrong at first. Then he looked at the pump. He said it was full of debris. I asked for specifics and he listed baby socks and coins. He left me with a mesh bag to wash the baby things in.
All's well that ends well. It cost us an arm and a leg, but we do have a one year warently. We bought it the same time as the washing machine we just replaced. I guess we thought the worst when it started giving us trouble. Hopeuflly this fix will keep us from having to buy a new one any time soon.

My washer does that occasionally. Our repair guy showed me how to take the front plate off and get to the pump filter so I can clean it out myself. I've found some REALLY strange things in there, thanks to Cody!
