Isabelle is having her 4th birthday party next weekend and I sent invitations to Mother's Day Out for all her little friends.  Now, Izzy never talks about any of her friends except Diego (and she's marrying him, so of course she talks about him), so I really wasn't sure if she interacted much with the kids or if any would come.  But today, as I was trying to sneak a nap in, my phone rang and it was a kid's mom RSVPing!  She said her daughter was SO excited to have been invited.  She wanted to know what kind of things Izzy likes so she could make sure she got her a present she'd like.  I told her that Izzy didn't really play with toys much and she was very quirky and creative. 

And this is what her mom said:

"Oh, I have one of those too.  My daughter is creative.  That's really code for 'they like to make messes for us to clean up.'"

I can see this lady and I will get along just fine.

I'm super stoked that there will be kids at the party, though.  We've never managed to put together a birthday party with more than one or two extra kids.  And so far, my cousin is coming with her 3 kids and we have an MDO buddy.  This is going to be so much fun!!

Oh I can see that the two of you are going to be juuuuuust fine.  You will DEFINITELY have fodder for conversation!  Soooo wish we were closer - there would totally be 3 more kids and chocolate chip cookies in attendance.
