I'm sorry to say that Emily was not as happy to be home as we were to have her home, but ... she is HOME none-the-less.
If it were up to Emily, she would still be in the hospital. Shoot, who could blame her? Popsicles for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Nurses (and her parents) waiting on her hand and foot, rushing to refill her beverage if she even glanced in the direction of the little styrofoam cup housing a trademark hospital bendy straw. A library of DVD's telling princess stories and singing annoying nursery rhymes. Her days were full of her favorite things, and no one would even think of challenging her on any of it. She had it made. And she knew it.
Doctor discharged her last night, and she wasn't as excited about it as I thought she'd be. When we returned home, she moped and whined that she missed her bed at the hospital and wanted her doctor back. She was down right mad at me.
This morning she awoke (fever free I must say) and was a little happier to be here. Though she won't admit it, I think she missed her little sister. I know this because if she didn't, there is no way she would have shared one of her beloved balloons with her. That is a FOR SURE guarantee.
Today will be filled with rest, lots of TV, TLC and yes, maybe even a popsicle or two.
Comments:
I wish "Cute" came to mind right now for me to describe her ... she is throwing a HUGE temper tantrum. I guess she really is feeling better. Back to her old self. LOL!

Very cute photos to go with everything!
And very glad she's feeling better.
