Missin my girls (from Utah) & girl time :(

 I know its all about what you make it. But I'm feeling just a bit sad about girlfriends, and girl time. I don't have any friends here in Vegas. And I miss all my girls back home. Just wish I could have here what I had there.  I mean my sister in law which I love and adore & we are like best friends, she comes here a lot, but she doesn't live here. I just miss those lunch dates and shopping dates. Or stopping by to just say hi. I miss all my friends my own age.

Don't get me wrong I love meeting new people, and I think I'm pretty easy going and easy to talk to. But I just haven't seem to have found any friends. And some experiences I have had with people was weird, and I felt like an out cast. But I guess when everyone knows everyone and your the new person its a bit difficult.

I know you have came to one or two of our group events, and you seemed really cool, but then you stopped coming and stopped posting on the board.  Come back...LOL

I know its hard meeting new people, but i have met some amazing friends and awesome moms from the group, and at first yes i felt like an outcast and it was weird, but the more events i attend, the more comfortable i became, and that's when the friendships came.

I'll be your friend : ) LoL I have a post just like this from when I moved to Tahoe .. (over a year ago now) so I know what you mean .. you really should come hang out with me and Keri, we are really relaxed, laid back people... So are you religious? Are you a fitness guru? tell us more about yourself .. and lets do something this week .. I don't know where the rec center is that your talking about, but I'm sure we can figure it out and set something up... your son is about 18 months right?
