Happy Mother's Day!

To all my birthmom, adoptive mom, potential adoptive mom, and potential birth mom friends:

Thanks for being the support system that you are. IT's been a year of ups and downs, really high highs and some very low lows but I'm still here. Some days I want to give up but then someone helps to keep me going.

Christina called me earlier and all 4 kids, her hubby and she all yelled Happy Mother's Day at me. Made me cry. That's pretty much par for the course though. When her oldest daughter was telling me that since we both wanted to be Lily's mommy, that we get to share Lily, I was crying again.

It may not be the day that I had hoped it would be at this time last year, but I have an extended family with Christina and her family adn with some of you on here. Thanks for that.

You are going to make a GREAT Mommy, Heather. I really mean that. The Lord is preparing your heart for what is to come. I'd don't think that I would have been as good a mom to our son, were it not for the loss we had prior to his arrival. I don't take a single thing for granted anymore. Wishing you many blessings!
