Scared as the Bear

Have ya ever been 'scared as the bear?'  For those of you who don't know what that means, I'll explain...

My husband and sons love to go camping, so one weekend when my older son was about eight, they went camping, My husband told my son to take the bucket and get some drinking water from the fresh water creek. 

My son left - but a few minutes later, he came running back yelling... "Daddy! Daddy! There's a bear in the middle of the creek!"

Well, my husband calmed him down and said, "Son, that bear's as scared of you as you are of it, and he probably ran off, so go on back and get the drinking water."

To that my son said... "If that bear's as scared of me as I am of him... then, that water ain't fit to drink!"
