Hi everyone..
I am still here.. What an experience this has been.. I went to the doctor thinking I had one thing and end up with a 4 inch cm brain tumor.. From my doctor I went straight to university hospital in Syracuse.. After 8 hours in surgery they were able to remove it.. It was cancerous .. I spent 2 weeks in the hospital and now I'm on my second week of chemo / radiation.. I do feel great and chemo hasn't bothered me at all.. I'm in a new study for this new chemo drug called CT322... I'm one of 4 people to try this.. The only other place where this drug is at is Duke and Baylor university .. Duke is where this drug was developed.. I hope you can understand what I have typed.. The tumor has presssed against the optical nerve so I lost some vision.. I have radiation M-F and chemo on tuesdays.. That is my long day.. I'm at the hospital from 8-5.. I have good and bad days but mostly good.. From the day I found out I had brain cancer I told my doctor, okay let's get this taken care of.. My surgeon told my parents he is so amazed by my attitude because many of his patients think this is a death sentence.. Well.. This will NOT take me down !! I have way to much to live for.. Again I hope you understood what I've typed.. .. I'm leaving to go have my radiation tratments but I'll be back around 1pm..
Love you all !!!
Jeanine
