ZOMBIE NIMBLE, ZOMBIE QUICK!

I am proposing an essay contest describing your best attempt to face a zombie invasion. Whether you attempt to fight said zombies or join the zombies, we want to know about it! In one thousand words or less, please. Grammar, sentence structure, spelling, and creativity will be judging factors. It MUST be based in a real-life scenario. No futuristic weapons, no settings in Lothian (Lord of the Rings place, guys), no using the Force to get you out of the situation, your best friend can't be a werewolf (unless you can somehow prove that your best friend really is a werewolf).
If you want to create a weapon, go on ahead! Just make it plausible, please. Remember, one thousand words or less and submit it to my cafemom email. I'll read it and pass it on to the other judges. We will find the top five entries and then Cafemom itself will judge the winner. The winner gets bragging rights, the title of Greatest Zombie Defeater EVER, and the power to choose the next essay theme! Good luck and good hunting, my friends!
