I suppose we are against naming the new baby Josiah or Nehemiah. Since the boyfriend doesn't like either of those lol. Now I'm trying to decide if I want to name him Oliver, and call him Oli, or just name him Oli since I do want THAT to be his name, that's what I want him to be called, not Oliver. lol. Decisions Decisions.

I like Josiah as well. Nehemiah would be a bit of a moutful for a wee one.. And you'd have a lot of people assuming you'd picked it because it's Biblical... But I do like it since it's unusual. :) Oli is good though.

DH named our first, I named our 2nd, we got together on the 3rd and I named our last child.- Our only girl. Not everyone gets to pick out so many boy names. lol So make sure it's your favorite name in the world.

Much love and good luck with the names!

If you don't want people calling him Oliver, name him Oli (or Olli or Ollie or Oly, etc)!  My husband insisted on naming our first son Cyrus (long story, we argued about it for 3 years and he wore me down by the time we actually had a son) and we call him Cy.  I've never been completely sold on his name to begin with, but it really bugs me when my in-laws call him Cyrus!  It seriously makes me cringe every single time!

I have an Oliver! Oliver Grey is his full name. Everyone calls him Ollie or OllieG. The only time we call him by Oliver is when he is in trouble haha. He absolutely LOVES his name too. At every chance he gets he introduces himself "helwo, me's Ollie"... he is two.

I read stargazer's comment and Cyrus was my 1st choice but my DH was against it b/c I'm in love w/ Billy Ray Cyrus..LOL. We agreed on Oliver Reed.
