Breast Reduction Surgery~update on 07/09/10

On friday I went for my consultation with the surgeon. I have been waiting for this surgery to be approved for the last 5 years. The last time I went I was denied by the insurance company b/c "I didnt complain enough of back pain or take pain killers.". I am a 42 triple D. I have had back and neck pain for years and I am just ready to be done. I have had big boobs my entire life. I developed at around 11 years old. I have had the same bra size since I was like 19. It does not matter how much I weigh. I went to physical thearpy last summer and have complained of back pain to my dr for the past year. I am hoping that my insurance company will cover it this time. The only thing the insurance company my not cover is the lypo suction that they do on the sides. This could get costly around $1700. I know that the recovery is painfull(having spoke with serveral friends who have done this) but I am ready to do this. My hubby is really not excited I am doing this but he doesnt have to deal with all this pain. The first thing I will do is buy a bra at Victoria Secret!! I have never been able to buy a bra there!! Praying that this surgery goes through. This surgeron seems to think that it will so we shall see!

No call yet from the surgeons office. sigh..............what is taking so long?? its been a week. UGH I am so crabby today and this is not helping!!!

Surgeon called today and I have the approval!!!!! whooooo hooooo!! She even got the lypo covered too!!!!! They will call in a few days to schudule it!! I am hoping it will be soon!!!! I know its going to be painful but I can do it!!(I have 5 kids right?? lmao!!)

UGGGG no word from the surgeon yet!!!!!!!! hopefully tomorrow!! I want to get this done and over with. Hopefully by August!!

Spoke with Lisa(office lady) and everything in fine with my mamagram but he wants me to lose 30 lbs!!! OMG!!!! I have an appt. with him on Aug 23rd. He does not expect 30lb weight loss by then but to be on "track". UGHHHHH!! I am so frustrated!!! I will be the same bra size wether or not I lose the 20 to 30 lbs or not. Granted I could stand to lose some weight but I want this to be over!!!! sigh.........I guess I better start doing something about this weight thing.
