Ive never really done a garage sale before but my mothers group is having one at the end of July. I have a TON of stuff to sell and even though I would rather keep it for the memories I just dont have room so it has to go! Im not sure how much to charge for stuff like kids clothes or toys. Im also wondering if I should just stick to summer clothing or bring out all the seasons? Anyone have any advice or guidelines for me? TIA! :)

Bring out all seasons, but the summer and fall will probably sell better.  Separate is by size.  It's easiest on the buyers if each piece is like $1... and then anything more special than $1 gets hung in a separate spot with price tags.

good luck!

price at 1.00 an item, clothes are hard to get rid of, especially if you have a lot of them.  Half way through the day have bags or boxes and instead of having tons of leftover items that you will throw away, charge 1.00 a bagful or box full of stuff they can carry.   Basically you just want to get rid of the stuff and not be hauling it off to the trash when the sale is over.
