The Trials and Errors of Potty Training

Today is day 1 of the potty chair. Yes I said it, the potty chair. Our son is 11 months old and in our opinion totally ready and willing to learn to potty in the potty chair. I know some (and when I say some I mean most) mommies out there disagree with us for doing this, but hey, to each thier own right? My oldest son Ethan was the same age when I started with him and it was a sucsess. I do know that I may totally crash and burn with Elijah, but at least I gave it a try!! So join me and my ohana with our experience of a life time trying to teach Eli to potty in the "big boy" chair!

Day 1- So far Eli has sat on his potty 3 times without complaint! I think he actually thinks it cool. I will post a pic of it later! He played with an empty toilet paper roll while sitting on it and even looked at his book while I read it to him. So far no pee pee in the potty but that is coming soon!.

Mission- to go find training panties tomorrow-walmart had nothing but pull ups and big boy undies....
