Mowing the lawn question

Hi, Mammas.  I am a single Mom of three boys.  At what age can THEY mow the lawn?  Thank you!!

I would say maybe 11 or 12 or so, maybe younger, but I wouldn't want mine doing it any younger. It all depends on their maturity and the person teaching them. As long as you teach them the right way to do it and to be careful, they will be o.k. and to always watch for others, especially if you have younger kids, they are fast and can be right there in know time. You didn't say a Rider or push mower...  but I think around 12 or 13... but push mowers can be dangerous when you aren't used to equipment, I remember being 21 and wanted to pull all the stuck grass out of the side, and I almost cut my hand off ....   I'd really go over how to do it, and things like what I mentioned.  I had problems as a kid on a rider too..

It's a push mower.  And I HATE mowing the lawn.  LOL.  Thanks, Mommas!!  Guess it's still me for a while!
