SO WORRIED, UPSET AND PISSED...updated in red

ok so as all of u know noah has strep. well now he has the horrid cough that has had him up for 48hrs with only 3hrs sleep, and he only slept cuz he sat stright up all night. well he is having such a hard time berathing  that u can see his ribs pulling in. so i brought him to the er last night and OMG!!!!! the dr was soooooooooooooooo rude, brash and rough. this is what happen last night. the dr walking in the exam room and b4 even looking at noah says " this child don't have croup, not the way he is presenting" he then procededs to SHOVE the sethascope to his throat very roughly (note noah is crying now)  then yells at me cuz he wont hold still. i try to explain whats been going on and the dr dose not even listen and says "you don't know what your talking about" he then procedes to VERY roughly force noah's head back and FORCEFULLY forced his mouth open. by now noah is terrified and im on the verge of tears. the dr then stats that he refuses to treat him.  and walks out. i break out in tears and a nurse who was watching ses and gose to talk to the dr while other nurses come n talk to me. it could be heard the dr yelling at the nurse about how he treated us. i told the dr i demaned a 2nd opion from the other dr on duty and he says " I RUN THIS ER!!!" and REFUSED my request.  not only did he refuse this request he refused to treat noah or do any tests and discharged us. i told him expect a complain and that if anything happen to my child i would sue his ass!!! well today noah is having even more probs breathign and i am taking him back to his dr i will update when we get back. i'm sorry this is so long but if you read it please i need ur support and advice. i am so stressed and i am worried about that affecting the baby i am pg with. plz mama's help!!!

well we are back and......I WAS RIGHT!!!!!. noah has CROUP!!!!! that dam er put my son's life in danger!!!!! croup is very dangeriouse with kids who have asthma!!!!! his dr has placed him on a high dose of steriords to help him breath and is having us watching his breathing VERY closely. any sign that the steriords r not working they WILL admitt him. it feels so good to be vindacated and know i am not crazy!

OMG. I am so sorry to hear your little one is sick. I went through something very similar when I had a miscarriage about three years ago. I would def. take him to a different doctor. If he does not have croup I don't know the signs of whooping cough but I know it is going around. I hope that it all gets better. take care!

Omg, How dare that doc. ur son is sick and that doc should have been more carefull. good luck with the dr today. i know that ur very worried and i hope that his doc can figure out what is wrong

I would report it to the head of the hospital....and refuse to pay the bill they try to send you.

Im sorry that you and your baby went through this. CVPH SUCKS!!!!!!
