It has been exactly 15 years since I was in a college class! On September 7th I will finally be back in school but on another level mentally than before! I am soo ready to start school, the only problem I have is putting a period on my major! A big problem really...I presently work in Medical Records at a community outreach center in my city and I really enjoy the work, I have always been a nut for collecting papers, go figure, lol.....I like my job soo much that I am interested in earning a BBA in Health Service Management.
I am in daily contact with Social Workers and I have always had an interest in that field, anything helping people is a great career choice in my opinion...but I also want to make a living to support me and my children, but I also want a career where I can spend time with my family also, btw is non-negotiable. I have had my fair share of jobs with irregular work hours and uncomfortable working conditions(no A.C) and now I finally got a job where I enjoy going to work, because I know even though I am pulling charts and mailing out medical records, I am helping people....I am wired to do more...I always feel like if I can do this then I can do that too..lol...Idk, maybe its the MOM in me...u ladies know we all got that invisible "S" on our chest..lol...our families believe we can do anything soo much that we start believing it..lol
But seriously, I do want a job that is full-filling in more was than one....I mean what good is a job if it pays good but you hate to clock in..lol..been there done that! I am not out to get filthy rich(that would be nice), but I definitely would be satisfied with a job with great benefits! Social Work vs. Medical Records....that is my Question!
