For a few weeks now i have been having an achy pain in my lower left abdominal area.  When it first started i thought that it was menstrual cramps and then when it happened again i just thought that i was ovulating.  its not a sharp pain just an achy pain similar to cramps...sometimes its hurts more than other times.  it always is there though.  This morning i also started to have some lower back pain.  Not sure if the two are related or not.  i have called my OB/GYN and can not get in to see him until September 20Th and was told that if it gets too bad to call my primary care doctor or go to the ER.

i have never had this before.  i have had uti's in the past..only 2 though and i am not having any painful urination.  i have had an irregular pap test once but that was a few years ago and nothing came of it after i had a biopsy.  Also i am nervous because my mom passed away from Ovarian Cancer and the thought of something being wrong w/me terrifies me.  My husband told me to call the doctor a couple of weeks ago but i was afraid to and got occupied doing other things w/the children.

i have been reading so much today trying to figure out something  i have read everything from uti's..endometriosis..ovarian cysts..bowel problems.  Not sure what to believe or what to do.  Anyone had these symptoms before or can offer any advice??

i wouldn't wait to get in to see your ob/gyn.  you need to see your primary care physician.

i had excrutiating menstraul cramping. i chalked it up to just my monthly gift from mother nature.  i had a cyst the size of a grapefruit twisting my ovary like a piece of rope.  i ended up having emergency surgery the night before thanksgiving and spent the week in the hospital.  please don't wait, go see your dr asap.

Make an appt with your primary care doc, because they will most likely be able to get you in today or tomorrow.  And stop trying to self-diagnose yourself.  Your symptoms could be so many different things that you're just freaking yourself out.  Good luck and I hope you get better soon =)

I had almost the exact same symptoms, not constant but often, sometimes just mild and sometimes excruciating. It turns out I have an orange-sized benign ovarian mass. They thought for a minute that it may be cancer but tests ruled it out.At this time my doctors are against removal as I have other health issues that make the surgery too risky, but it is growing. This doesn't mean this is what you have, but it sounds similar.I would see a doctor TODAY.Get an emergency appointment with your primary,if nothing else.He or she can get the ball rolling on the tests you'll need to diagnose this.A simple blood test can tell you with a reasonable degree of certainty if you have a malignancy,so at least that can set your mind to rest. The most important thing is to be informed and in charge;this is your body,so take care of it.Good luck.
