I am 29 weeks 1 day pregnant today.  Today I am going to finally start putting some touches on Sawyer's nursery! (After all, it's only 10 weeks 6 days until his arrival!) We finally got some good news this week.  My husband has been unemployed for over 2 weeks and we have really been struggling to get by considering I have no income at the moment.  Well, yesterday he called a local truck driving company and was hired within 5 minutes.  The job will allow him to be home every night and I am so excited!

I was a little concerned that he wouldn't be able to be home every night like he wanted to be because we thought that in order to make the most amount of money possible he would have to go OTR and be gone most of the time but I encouraged him to call a local company since he was reluctant to be gone now that we are so close to the arrival of our son.  I was going through and hanging up all of the baby clothes and he said that seeing them made him really want to be home.  I am glad that he is able to!  Everything finally seems to be falling into place!

Most of the people that I know have decided to go ahead and induce at 39 weeks since our doctor is not opposed to it.  I am honestly considering it because I don't want to be involved in that extremely long car ride whenever I go into labor.  If we had a local hospital with an OB-GYN employed it would be a different story but having to drive at least 45 minutes to the nearest hospital makes me consider going ahead and getting induced at 39 weeks.  I guess it tends to be a contraversial issue for some, but considering I can't drive and if my husband is going to be driving a truck then my parents would have to drive 30 minutes to get to me and then 45 minutes to the hospital then it's really not a chance I want to take.  Plus, I would rather know that he gets to be there for it.

I obviously have a lot on my mind and a lot on my "plate" at this moment but for the first time in a long time I actually feel excited.  I am going to start grant writing for a project that would allow the community of underpriveledged residents to recieve funding to take care of some of the needs they might have.  I really hope that turns out well because I am definitely in need of my "big break".  pregnant belly
