when we stopped at the gas station last night, my 13 yr old step-son
just had had to have a stupid little gas station toy, it was a little
plastic bow and arrow set, my son and I stayed in the truck, so my
fiance said that SS had to get one for my son(3 yrs old) too, well
apparently he did, but he never gave it to my son, he hid it up in his
room, when we got home He played with his and took my son's out of the package and
played with that, but never gave my son his....then left to stay the
night with a friend, later that night, we wondered why my son wasn't playing with his toy, and we couldn't find it anywhere. so today when he got home from his friends, the first thing ss does is get on his WOW game. my
fiance just asked where is your brother's toy? SS won't say where it it, instead he gets up, is gone in his room for like 3 min(we have a small house), hands Colter the toy and jumped right back onto his WOW game.... and fiance does nothing, so I push the issue, "why didn't you give Colter his toy last night?" and SS says "Oh, I forgot to give it to him" But this is a total lie, when they got home, he immediately opened his and he chased my son around acting like he was gonna shoot him and stuff and later my fiance said SS kept asking him if he could take them with him to his friends and fiance told him no, that it's Colter's. So finally after I pushed the issue, fiance made SS get off the computer so his only punishment for his lying and being mean to his brother was like 30 min off the computer..... I'm still annoyed with this... how would you handle this?

You handled it well. Its all normal issues for older siblings to act like that at times. Don't stress over it.
