Yes Yes Yes! It's been a while since I've actually talked to any of you ladies. I do feel horrible about not ever saying hello but to be honest I usually get on here for about 5 minutes to check a couple of groups and that's about it. Very rarely do I get on here and spend more than 10 minutes much less fiddle fart around doing other things like saying hi, lol.
It's been a LONG time since an update has been given on my life so I figured I would sum it up in a few small paragraphs.
Everyone is doing well and Cole and Emily are growing like weeds. God, I can't believe they are 3! Where has time gone and why does it have to go so fast?! They are in a parents day out program twice a week and have been in that for a little over a month. I also work there as an assistant teacher in the toddler 1 room (which is the 18mos - 2yr old).. it all comes natural to me so I really don't mind running around after kids for 5 hours on tuesday's and thursday's, lol.
I graduated the local community college here in Corpus back in May so now I hold my Associates in Early Childhood Education degree! =] That will come in use some day getting me a little more money than i'm making now.. i'm just waiting for Cole and Emily to start Kindergarden because it will be a little easier for me to make my schedule and know exactly when I want to work and such.
My hubby Chris is still not having much luck with jobs. He's worked about 3 jobs in the last year and a half or so not being able to keep any for more than 6 months. His employers cut his hours and/or don't call him in to work. Sucks I know but that's the job market these days.. especially down here. He's been going to school since the Spring and working on a Bachelor's in Business Administration. That will definitely get him a job one day but he's gotta finish first which will probably be in a good 3 years or so. Can't wait! Right now he's collecting unemployment.. gotta pay the bills somehow but he's continuesly looking for a job but hasn't had any luck. A lot of companies don't want to hire a student.. which sucks but he's trying to get education so he can work. Very frustrating time but we're making it through doing all we can. My little pay check once a month helps a lot.
As of April 2010 we've been living in our 1600sq one story home in a super nice neighborhood. It's SO nice to have our own place, kids have their room (they share) and a backyard/frontyard to play in with a nice playscape! We love our home and plan to stay here until we can afford to buy our own house... after hubby graduates and gets a good job, lol.
That's basically all that's going on. Everyone is doing well and despite the humps in the road here and there everyone is happy!!
Please leave me a comment saying hello and that you haven't forgotten about me, hehe. I will try and make the rounds leaving some love on your profile... but don't hold your breath, hehe!
