On January 4th of this year, i finally got motivated to lose weight. And amazingly, I havent lost that motivation. It hasn't gone as fast as I wanted but it least its working. Since January I've lost 26 lbs. I'm 14 lbs away from my goal weight! I've never done this in my entire life. The one thing that I've found that works is Zumba. I'm absolutely obsessed and I can't get enough of it. Even with an injury, I will push through the pain because I love it so much.
For the longest time I felt like I didn't have any positive friends in my life. Actually not many friends period. I had friends, but we were all at different stages in our lives. Either they were single and liked to party, or they were married and didn't have kids, so they didn't understand a lot with what I have to do on a daily basis. Since finding a gym, I have made so many GREAT friends that are positive and a great infuence on me. Finding a gym is one of the best things i've ever done for myself. I'm hoping to reach my goal weight by Halloween. I hope when I update this in October I have great news.
