in loveWell, words fail me now? Perhaps.  What do you say to the person who you've spent so many years with and have shared the good the bad and the ugly.  Happy anniversary (sheriff fat-man)  you know who you are.

I woke up this morning and realized that in a few days I was celebrating a wedding anniversary.  I don't get all psycho about it,  I am however pensive.  Two kids the oldest 16 the babe 10 and a gazillion years later, I have more white hairs, he has me beat he has a million white hairs which generally end up all over everything like a shedding manimal.

Like I said I don't go crazy,  It hasn't been easy we have been flush some times and others as poor as church mice; physical ailments have taken tolls and we have had our share of disagreements, who doesn't.   It takes time to realize that after so much time the point of the anniversary is not the things that come in packages, its the feeling that exist between two people who pledged for better or worse.  Sometimes that worse part feels like it will never end, however there are those brilliant moments when its like it was at the beginning that remind me that I'm glad that he is mine.

I wonder how many of us take the time to recall that first moment when we fell in love with the person sleeping next to us,  warts and all and just breathe a sigh of relief that in a time when so many people fall apart and walk away; that you know you can reach over and pluck that white hair off his or her cheek.

luv

marta.

The rain stopped as we looked at each other and said what we meant. The rain outside, at least.

More than one person said she "looks like a goddess." She still does.

A traditionally wrapped great-kilt can make your hips look pretty big, which isn't as nice on a guy as it is on a woman. The great thing about 9 yards of cloth is that it still fits. The belt might be a problem though..groom
