My journal below was how I was going to tell Dan that I was going to leave him.. This past weekend, I went out with her friend and her boyfriend, everything was ok but not good. So on Sunday, I went to my friend's son's birthday party and he pulled me aside b4 I left and asked me if I wanted to be with him and I told him "NO" I 've been unhappy for a long time ( basically I was just leading him on) . So Sunday nite he basically accused me of cheating on him ( which I wasnt- I'm only talking to someone else just going out nothing more). He was calling me names and a whole bunch of other stuff so I told him if he doesn't leave I'm leaving on Monday.. So that asshole left but with Masa and he didnt wanna give her back.. He only took Masa and didnt take Danny.. So I called the cops and didnt no where I lived in Collegeville the state police controls it.. So the state police came and took all of his stuff ( hes addicted to pot).. And now hes bitching b/c I wont let him see the children ( which the court date is Nov 17th). until the court hearing.. So last night he called to talk to the children and then he asked me NOT to bring up his drug habit. or he'll bring up that I'm a pill popper which I'm not its a perscriptions his is NOT.. So this question is would u let him see ur kids b4 the court date?? and y???

No, I wouldn't. He already tried to take one away, and he's THREATENING you. Bring up his drug habit, only if you have proof (ie: tickets for possession/failed drug tests, etc) - if he brings yours up- have your prescription handy. "Yes, your honor, I do take pain medication. It was prescribed to me by.. for ___ reason".
During my first divorce hearing (of 3) my ex (who was in jail at the time) tried to lie on the stand saying that I was a whore and a horrible mother. Yeah, prove it. I'm not the one in ankle-chains and an orange jumpsuit there, buddy. Call me the bad parent... hah.
Good luck, lots of hugs, and keep us updated!
