Generosity of Others

On August 3, 2010 my daughter, Jordan, had a grand mal seizure that lasted almost 24 hours.  When it first happened we did not know if she was going to wake up a different child or if she would even wake up at all.  You can not image what it is like to have a healthy, active, 8-year-old daughter on day and the next she is in ICU fighting for her life.

It has been 9 weeks since that day and Jordan is doing much better,  Through this whole journey we have met people along the way who have helped us.  It always amazes me how nice people are and how people who don't even know you come together to help you.

Although the experience was very traumatic, I was so touched by all the people who came together for us.  We will never be able to thank everyone.  Every day when I look at my daughter I believe in miracles.  I know that all the prayers, love and support she received are what for her through this.

Truly the generosity of everyone made this journery the best it could be.

I had the same experience with my son's heart surgery. I read that your daughter is still having health issues - you and your family will be in my prayers this holiday season.
