Wow I had so much fun yesterday!!

 Yesterday was my SO's great nieces birthday party. And to be honest with you I really didn't want to go. DD had a UIL trip so she was out of town and the idea of hanging out with 12, 9 year old girl is not really my idea of a good time. But I have to say that I was completely and totally wrong. SO's niece rented the skating rink and we all had a blast. I haven't skated in almost 10 years so I wasn't sure if I could still do it, but I guess its just like riding a bike you never forget how. All of the adults and all of the kids were skating, it was just so fun. At on point I was sitting in a chair with my skates on and my long jeans rolled about half way up my calves drinking a juice box. I felt like a kid again. LOL  My 34th birthday is next month and I jokingly told everyone that I was thinking about having a skating party for my b-day too. Everyone agreed that would be a fun idea. I so glad that we went and I'm so glad that we ALL had fun,not just the kids. Honestly this was the first time I had ever seen this side of my family, it was great. What do you think is 34 too old for a skating party, I don't think so.

My niece had a skating party for her 21st birthday party. 80's style. She had a blast.
