I have had enough, I want to lose weight in the biggest way.  I have no will power and I have no energy to start something, if I do I quit after one week.  I would love to lose about twenty five pounds by Christmas.  I see all these nice workout outfits at the store and I think, I would love to wear that.  I would love to get healthy.  Should I join a gym?  I need one with a day care because of my kids.  Husband works too much so I cannot rely on him to take care of the kids while I go to the gym.  Should I dust off the treadmill and use it but it is finding the time to do it.  When the kids are at school I am at work.  When they are home, it is homework, hockey etc.

Any suggestions?????  Thanks for listening.

There are people on YouTube who are getting really popular with their weight adventures and actually have a fan base too.  Maybe you can publicize it like that then you will feel obligated to you fans to do it which in turn will be inspiring enough to stick with it, hopefully.  Otherwise, you can tell youself that you are not allowed to watch tv unless you are on the treadmill. Also, maybe while your kids are in hockey or something you can walk.

Good Luck!! Maybe join a Support Group on here. Use the treadmill when you are alone...after bedtime when you are watching TV or get up 1/2 earlier than everyone in the AM. Maybe join a gym or local Rec. Center...IF you think you will actually take the time to go. It's really so much a "mind thing" -- I think (losing)....you really have to dedicate yourself to doing it for YOU...because YOU deserve it! You know? This is a great site with help tools...

Hi my name is Margie. I too struggle with staying with a workout routine. I have a couple of suggestions. What I am able to do is I walk for 30mins with a Friend/neighbor at 530am 3 days a week. I also have a stationary bike that I will get on in my garage. But that's only if my friend can't make and didn't tell me the night before so because I am already up I will do that. I don't do gyms. They make me uncomfortable and I won't pay to go workout when I don't like it in the first place. I tried to use that as motivation but it never worked. If you don't have someone to walk with pull out that treadmill put on the TV.  Put your favorite movie on or something from the DVR and do in the morning. Unless you are really a night person I find that by the time I could workout at the end of the day I am way to tired. Start small. Set yourself up to succeed. We as mothers always put too much on our plates. And one more thing don't set a time frame for losing pounds. That can be very discouraging. Once you get started and you continue you will see the pounds melt off. As for food, don't diet just start to eat food that is better for you. Dieting is too much pressure and then you won't do it. Drink as much water as you can. And if you want we can be cheering coaches for one another. I just started back on my routine yesterday. I really want to stick to it this time.  GOOD LUCK!!

MOMMIE POWER!!
