butterfly1677's Journal

butterflies fly away...

so my 12 year old is hitting the teen years. want to pull all of my hair out! he has crazy hormones going! were did my sweet little snuggle bunny go! the worst part about it is that it happened overnight. he talks back, supper sarcastic and he has stopped participating in any after school activity. i ask to see his homework just to check it like i always do and it is the end of the world! is this crap normal? i have know idea how to handle this.. want to lock myself in a closet and like that movie remote control... hit the fast forward button for a few years!!

I had just posted a journal regarding the same exact thing. The woman who comment on my post said no matter what don't give up. I have already gone through more than i expected to at this point and it is hard. My husband and I just stick to our guns and much as we can and let him know we do the things we do because we love him. Check out my journal. Enjoy I know someday I will wish I had these days again as hard as they are.  :0)

I have a 11 year old -she will be 12 in 10 days. She is not talking back as of yet but she is starting the huffing and puffing, has to be right all the time and this is my fault but she has to have the last word.I feel like she has seen me mad and I always have to have the last word..Anyway I wish you luck with your son.
