Well, it's been 3 months since surgery (7/30/10).  Never thought I would ever feel good about my appearance again.  Went into a normal store (Sears) and got into a pair of size 16 jeans.  This is a big deal for me, as the last pair of jeans that I bought were size 26.  I'm down 75 pounds since my initial consultation date, which was May 11, 2010.  I weighted in at 298 pounds on 5/11/10 and the scale tipped at 221 pounds this morning.

I feel so much better about myself.  Able to walk for over an hour now, able to put on socks, stockings, boots and tennis shoes without being out of breath.  No need to park as close as possible to whatever building I am going into anymore.  Love to go to the mall now and walk the length of it without having to sit down.  Love to put on fitting clothing again.

Most of all, I enjoy not being the biggest person in the room.  By the way,  the items that I had altered a month ago, are now too big again.   WHAT IS A GIRL TO DO? OTHER THAN GO AND SHOP FOR SOME NEW CLOTHES.  WHICH IS SOMETHING THAT MAKES ANY WOMAN HAPPY, ESPECIALLY IF THEY ARE A SMALLER SIZE.

My goal is to be under 200 pounds by my birthday on January 26th.  Thanks for listening!   I welcome any suggestions for staying on track and getting enough protein into my system.

Congratulations on the hard work you have done so far! Keep going! You will feel better and better about yourself each and every day! And go for the new clothes, you deserve them!

The Holidays will provide a challange, just plug through them, enjoy looking at the rich foods, but stick to your diet plan.

Good luck!
