The carb thing didn’t work.  He still got up in the middle of the night for a bottle.  Then he got up super early and wanted to watch Baby Einstein.  {sidenote: his favorite right now isBaby’s First Sounds and squeals when the bee puppet comes on the screen.}

Today he skipped his afternoon nap. Tonight MAY be the night he sleeps through the night… but I read this article on Babycenter.com, “Baby sleep Training“ that says

And somewhere between 3 and 6 months, experts say, most babies are ready for sleep training and are capable of sleeping through the night. They’re not talking about eight hours, though — they generally mean a stretch of five or six hours.

That’s a technicality, even though it makes me feel marginally better because Thomas is normal, it does not make me feel well rested AND does not explain these urban legend babies that magically sleep through the night. Read all about it >
