All the cardboard food boxes can be put into a jar with a lid and soaked with water until the cardboard is soft and then torn into little pieces and used for mulch on plants outside. I found this especially helpful this year when we had a horrible drought in TN. Also the toilet rolls can be included in that.  One can even save every scrap of paper in the water jar.

To save water make sure you throw your dishwater outside and let the plants use it. Don't use real greasy water but all other dishwater is fine. The water company charges for to use the incoming water and then charges again for the outgoing water to be cleansed and that is a double charge!! If you don't let  the water go back down the drain then you will save on the water bill. Save as much water as you can to put outside in your yard instead of letting it go down the drain.
