Hey Everyone!

So, I was going to take the weekend off from blogging...but I had the urge to write. I put up a new post called" My kitchen is my therapist" It's just what I do to let go and unwind after a fight... or if I'm on edge or what not.  Maybe some of you can relate...

What do you ladies do to wind down and let go?

I go in my bathroom, lock the door, light a candle and soak in my bubble bath.  And as I say this I am going to ask Santa for ear plugs so I can't hear all the commotion outside of my bathroom sanctuary!  And a good book !

I sooo relate to kitchen therapy. It's my biggest joy (and I have a hubby who will do the dishes once my "session" is over;that is a BIG plus...lol).The way the house smells as I work my magic, sometimes sweet and sometimes earthy and savory, well,no aromatherapist could lift my mood better;the wafting of the sweet aroma of home can,and does, take me anywhere I want to go.A close second to kitchen therapy is garden therapy;to plant seeds and watch them grow into these wondrous plants is sort of like giving birth. To put my hands in the earth and not only connect to God but to all the people both before and after me who will be sustained by the fruits of that soil is a gratifying, spiritual experience. And third is my beekeeping. The miracle of an apiary is a magnificent thing to behold and deserves an entire journal;maybe one day I'll write one about it.There you have it,my list of sanity savers and centering activities.Everybody needs something to restore and sustain the wonder of life;hope all you ladies get to "play" in your favorite pasttimes today.
