I am a single mom of three girls.... my olderst is 3 n is potty trained... my middle is 2 n is in diapers.... my youngerst is 1 n is in diapers.

Me and their dad recently split up about almost 6 months ago. now my middle child has went bonkers.... she doesn't listen she throws tables and chairs and anything else she can get ahold of. Recently she has started taking off her diaper.... well it was good at first i would jsut put it back on and we were good. but now she has started coming back from him having them and with in 3 hours she is pooping and peeing in the floor or on the bed or on the toys.... i don't know what to do i have asked the doctor and nothing i even duck taped the diaper to her like the doctor told me to and it still didnt work.....

Can someone please help me i am loosing my mind .....

My neice started doing that when she was ready to be potty trained. See if she will do better if you get her some pretty big girl panties and a new pottie. Dont forget the treats bc it will be a breeze once she figures out that going in the potty gets something yummy!

The recent split up most likely has some effects on your daughter. She may be doing this for attention, or just be so upset or angry.  All of this may be a little confusing for her.  My only suggestion is to talk to her,and let her know it is not okay to do this.  Each time she does it, I would place her on the potty and tell her that is where she needs to go.  Hopefully with time she will adjust and things will get better.

I agree with the previous posters about the impact of the split on her,and the fact that it may be coinciding with time to potty train.Try their suggestions;above all remain calm. This child does not have the vocabulary to tell you what she's so upset about. If it doesn't stop soon I'd see the pediatrician for a work-up just to make sure everything is OK developmentally.Good luck.
