Today was my sons first group therapy session with other kids who have autism spectrum. I wasnt allowed to stay in the room so I stayed in the adult waiting room for two hours and read and talk to other moms whos children have different problems.

I went to pick him up and the therapist said he did good today and while we were talking we hear in the playroom a huge thud and crying and my son came out crying and had blood on his chin. The aide that was in there with him said he and another boy ran right into each other chasing the same ball. Poor baby it took 10 minutes to get him to stop crying and calm him down. His upper lip was bleeding, the other kid was fine and wasnt bleeding but it did scare him.

Hopefully taking these group therapy sessions will help him learn how to behave at school and not hit other kids and how to work in a group.
