Chad & Me plus 3

My life as a wife & mother of 3

The twins will be 3 weeks old on Thursday already!! Chad went back to work last Thurs when they turned 2 wks old. I'm getting into a good routine with them and Cam during the weekdays. I get up at 7 am and get Cam breakfast and then usually feed the babies between 7 and 8 am just in time to walk Cam to the bus by 8:20. I'm also still pumping. The babies eat 4 ozs already and 3 of it comes from breastmilk which is pretty good I guess! I really do not enjoy the pumping, I feel like I'm attached to a machine for life. LOL The swelling in my feet is completely gone now thank gosh and I fell pretty good besides being a bit achy.

I am actually able to stand up again and I can make short shopping trips here and there which I could not do for the whole 2nd half of the pregnancy since I was so sore! I'm so glad the babies are here and healthy and that I'm starting to recover physically.

I love these babies so so so so so much!!!! I never thought it would be possible to love other kids as much as I love Cameron since he was my 1st and I went through so much with him having the stroke and everything but I absoloutely do!! Sometimes I just hold them both and stare at them. I can't believe how I've been blessed with such amazing babies and Cameron and my wonderful husband. To have two healthy babies at once and to have a boy and a girl at once is such a huge gift.

I can't wait to watch them grow up with their big brother. I can't wait for their 1st sounds, their 1st foods, their 1st Thanksgiving and Christmas. (which is coming up soon) I'm so happy that God blessed me with more children and Cameron with 2 siblings to grow up with. Being a mommy is the best thing I have ever done and no matter what I accomplish in my lifetime being a mommy (and a wife) is the only thing that really matters.

I'm totally in love with all my babies. ;-)

I am so glad that you and the babies are doing great!  The pumping does suck but it won't be forever, so hang in there!  :-)
