A couple things I have seen today about children and nutrition. There is a big fuss about Sarah Palin making casual remarks about nutrition in schools. Then I see an article about PB&J, pretzels, and whole milk not as healthy as it seems. Really people? Now we cant serve our kids freaking PB&J?Oh we can, it just needs to be whole grain, organic this, and organic that. I'm sure its great stuff, but really why do we have to have the nutrition police everywhere we turn around. I talked about this before. If you feed your children three meals a day without much snacking in between and they are not over eating and getting normal exercise, Whats the big deal? What is wrong with having a damn twinkie every once and a while. Oh and don't get me started on juice. I never knew until I had kids that Juice was considered bad for you. I give my kids juice. I don't get it. They say to dilute it. I want to see adults drinking half water and juice. Yuck! It's better than kool aid or whatever, isn't it?

I just think people are so uptight about everything these days, and it irritates the you know what out of me!!!
