I admit that I have not been committed to reading the bible in a year so I have decided that I am going to start a plan to read the Bible in 90 days. So far in 2 days I have read Gen. Ch 1-30.My goal by this plan is to have the Bible completely read by the end of Feb.The reason I am doing this is because there are allot of stories in the Bible Ive never read and I want to be able to answer questions  to certain stories when asked. Also I feel that is what God wants me to so I can strengthen they faith and knowledge of the word.I will keep you updated on my progress as I go.Please pray that I can do this, cause I really know I can,but I know how saten trys to beat use down and pulls us away from things that are important.

I have a really hard time with the old testament, do you? Women are nothing but "things" in it. I have read the New Testament  (not that they are noted much more. )This is a hard sticking point for me with the Bible.  And all of those begats....I tend to skim over.... I don't know if it's the devil or ADD? But good luck with your mission!

Just a tip...if you start with the New Testament, then read the Old Testament, then again go re-read the New Testament, and the rest of the Bible it makes it easier to understand the Bible. Also,no need to rush. The Bible takes a lot of concentration and study, but the rewards are wonderful!

What really helped me get through the entire Bible was buying a study Bible. The beginning is the hardest to sludge through, IMO.
