Ok, so on sunday, my 22 yr old has a burn on his hand.  It has a scab about 3/4 of an inch by 1/4 inch and about 1/8th inch deep, it is clearly infected and red around the entire area.  He knocked the scab off.  I tell him to put neosporin on it.  He laughs at me and says I'll never use that stuff.  Well that night he secretly applied it and again the next day.

Last night, he said out loud for all to hear "I apologize mom!!, I put on the neosporin and it's not red anymore". It actually looks good now.

Anyway, it takes a long time for young men to realize their moms are ALWAYS right.  It brought a tear to my eye to be able to say I TOLD YOU SO!

Ok I didn't say that but I sure did feel it!!

This cracks me up, because just about two weeks ago I had a VERY similar experience, except it was me (at 22) and my dad.

I told my mom, "Don't tell him this, but he is always right!" LOL And of course she told him.. so of course he had to gloat that after 22 years I finally realized he actually knew what he was talking about! LOL

He sounds like a smart kid!
