 When thinking about your New Years Resolutions this year, dont forget to consider your inner self and your relationships.   Its no secret that people who cultivate strong social ties live longer and stay healthier. Plan time to get together with friends on a regular basis and stick to it!!!

Also consider....

. Call an old friend, elderly relative, or neighbor and take a stroll in the park.

. It can be tough, but try to really listen to people, without thinking of a million other things or being judgmental. 

. Kidnap a friend and take her to a tap-dancing class ( or somthing)

. Keep a notebook handy to record your thoughts. list books you'd like to read, decorating ideas, and places you'd like to visit.  Either during the holidays or summer vacation.

Really good ideas. I have learned through seeing the Psychologist that you have to take care of yourself first before you can take care of everyone else! Keeping a journal is a really good way to get your feelings out before they control you!
