Day 3

The Bible is 100% correct because as you have seen from yesterday, it is always supporting its scriptures; again, inspired by God. When I think about what I posted yesterday I was thinking about Genesis 1:1. God created the heaven and earth. Just look at the picture below. When you think about it, since God created everything, what is too hard for Him to do in my life. He says in, Genesis 18:14,

"Is any thing too hard for the LORD?"

When I think how awesome the Word is, I see the same scriptures mentioned all throughout the Bible in different time periods. We can go on and on with scriptures indicating all that God had created. As we have seen yesterday, it’s all through His Word with mentioning that He created the  heaven and earth.

The Bible is 100% in its accuracy by showing us characters of the Old Testament being mentioned in the New Testament.

Eve

2 Corinthians 11:3, "But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtilty, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ."

 Adam

Matthew 19: 4, "And he answered and said unto them, Have ye not read, that he which made them at the beginning made them male and female,"

Cain

Hebrews 11:4,"By faith Abel offered unto God a more excellent sacrifice than Cain, by which he obtained witness that he was righteous, God testifying of his gifts: and by it he being dead yet speaketh."

 Abel

Hebrews 12: 24, "And to Jesus the mediator of the new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling, that speaketh better things than that of Abel."

Noah

1 Peter 3: 20,"Which sometime were disobedient, when once the longsuffering of God waited in the days of Noah, while the ark was a preparing, wherein few, that is, eight souls were saved by water."

 Abraham

Hebrews 11:17-19. Abraham believed that God was able to raise Isaac from the dead."

 Issac

James 2:21, "Was not Abraham our father justified by works, when he had offered Isaac his son upon the altar?"

 Moses

John 3: 14, "And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up:"

Solomon

Matthew 6: 29, "And yet I say unto you, That even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these."

Job

James 5: 11,"Behold, we count them happy which endure. Ye have heard of the patience of Job, and have seen the end of the Lord; that the Lord is very pitiful, and of tender mercy."

Jonah

Matthew: 12: 38-41, "Then certain of the scribes and of the Pharisees answered, saying, Master, we would see a sign from thee. But he answered and said unto them, An evil and adulterous generation seeketh after a sign; and there shall no sign be given to it, but the sign of the prophet Jonas:

For as Jonas was three days and three nights in the whale's belly; so shall the Son of man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth."

**Take a look at Matthew 1 to see the same characters in the Old Testament who are in the geneology of Jesus; in the New Testament. They bear witness to those characters really existing; not fairy tales or tall tales.
