Well-behaved women

rarely make history.

I'd take a picture, but I don't think it would do the floor justice.

We've been living in this apartment for 1.5 years now (WOW), and Joss is like any other child in that she makes a mess wherever she goes. She used to have a bad habit of shaking her sippy cups and watching the milk dot out all over the floor. We wiped the floor...or so we thought.

Apparently we didn't wipe well enough, because there are little white circles all over the hardwood. The floor is clean and swept but it doesn't look like it.

I've tried mopping it, wiping it...pretty much everything. Now I know that if I want it to be removed, I have to get down on my ass and scrub it myself. Aughhhhh. I want the Cleaning Fairy.

So I'm using a vinegar/baking soda/water/potpurri oil mixture on the stains. I spray it down, let it sit a few minutes, and wipe it off with a rag. Some come right off, some take some elbow grease.

I just look at the sheer square footage of our living room (Maybe 8x10?) and think of how looooooooooooooooooooooooooong it will take to scrub every single milk stain off.
