This is beautiful!!!!!!

There are two things that really spoke to me....The comment about us believing that our contribution is just one mere drop in the ocean.....yet the ocean would be lacking without it....and the second background it containing the message about "starting over every day."

I am Roman Catholic and have never seen such a collection of her wisdom in one place before......What an awesome person.....truely a woman of God....a woman for the ages....

I found it strange that she was almost considered a Saint but a few people in the church decided she had one mark against her. I remember looking up to her as a child.

Psalm 16:3
As for the saints who are on the earth,“They are the excellent ones, in whom is all my delight.”

Psalm 30:4
Sing praise to the LORD, you saints of His, And give thanks at the remembrance of His holy name.

Psalm 31:23
Oh, love the LORD, all you His saints! For the LORD preserves the faithful, And fully repays the proud person.

Psalm 34:9
Oh, fear the LORD, you His saints! There is no want to those who fear Him.

Psalm 37:28
For the LORD loves justice, And does not forsake His saints; They are preserved forever, But the descendants of the wicked shall be cut off.

Psalm 97:10
You who love the LORD, hate evil! He preserves the souls of His saints; He delivers them out of the hand of the wicked.

Psalm 116:15
Precious in the sight of the LORD Is the death of His saints.

She may not have made the cut in that church because of what they call a mark, But in the eyes of God she is a saint and so is all others who do his will and reach out to the lost in this world. .............Let he who is without sin cast the 1st stone

Well, put Gloria.....In my opinion she has all the characteristics of a saint....

Momma Halo....this is what I am understanding from the research I have done:  I am Roman Catholic, by the way....

Mother Theresa has been "beatified".  She has the title "Blessed".  However in the Catholic Church a person who is to be canonized a saint has to have had three miracles attributed to her-after death.....She at this point has one....Through time this may happen......I pray so...

I am totally with Glows...Mother Theresa has all the attributes of a saint....We all have the capability of being saints in the eyes of God....canonized formally or not....It is our the way we live..."For the Lord preserves the faithful" (Psalm 31:23).

What is a miracle?

What is a miracle? It is when the impossible happens.

It’s when doctors have given up on a sick child and for no scientific reason, that child gets well.

It’s when you’re down to your last dollar, have piles of bills to be paid, and a check arrives in the mail from some unknown source.

It’s when a hurricane comes through a town and your house is left standing with desolation all around it.

It’s when a child is born and you can’t believe how exquisitely miniature this new life appears.

It’s when you’ve prayed for a specific purpose and that prayer is answered.

It’s when there is no earthly reason something wonderful has happened.

Miracles take place everyday. Sometimes they’re very subtle and quiet, sweeping in like a touch on the face. Other times, it’s very evident and public. It doesn’t matter who you are, miracles can happen to anyone.

Why do miracles take place? It may be that God wants your attention!

When you believe in God, you gain an awareness of Him. You see everything in a new light. He shows His great power through the trials and tribulations of life, through nature and science.

God is in the impossible business. What is a miracle? Someone once said, “Coincidence is when God wants to remain anonymous.” Well, miracles are when God reveals Himself.

All glory and honor and praise belong to Him. Without Him there would be no miracles!

I believe that Morther Teresa did more than 3 miracles and has touched thousands for God, Jesus, and the kingdom to come~
